This was a huge year for the Superbowl and also Nike's presence in the sport. The Old Mint was chosen for Nike to take over for the 3 day event. The Mint was a collection of small rooms, each of which required a different function. Upstairs we created the Hall of Speed, The gear up locker room and the Lab. In the large courtyard space we produced the ultimate cleat trialling experience. This was an interactive installation that consisted of 13 projectors, laser motion sensors and 3 live capture cameras to give the participants a 15 second takeaway film to share on social channels. Downstairs was a series of old vaults that used to hold the gold when the building was in operation. In each of the 7 vaults we created individual activations for Nike Sportswear and NFL collaborations. The uniform was constructed unlike any other before, and weight less than any other uniform out there. A model was shot wearing the boot and running drills. The raw footage was taken and given a full CGI treatment to highlight the innovations. A sound score was composed and edited down to a 40sec film.
